Recreational Gymnastics
Girls
Impact Sports Center's girls recreational gymnastics program introduces your daughter to all four gymnastics events: Floor, Beam, Uneven Bars, and Vault. Classes focus on developing your child's strength, balance, and agility as well as her confidence, motivation, and self esteem.
Once your daughter has attained all the skills at a particular level, they are moved up to the next level to continue their gymnastics training.
Classes are fun, upbeat, and taught by a trained professional!
Boys
Impact Sports Center's boys recreational gymnastics program introduces your son to all six gymnastics events: Floor, High Bar, Pommel Horse, Vault, Rings, and Parallel Bars. Classes focus on developing your child's strength, balance, and agility as well as his confidence, motivation, and self esteem.
Once your son has attained all the skills at a particular level, they are moved up to the next level to continue their gymnastics training.
Classes are fun, upbeat, and taught by a trained professional!
Poster Reward System
It is our goal that parents know what their child is learning in class and how he or she is progressing. To help with this, each recreational gymnast will get to take home a Skill Poster that is age and skill appropriate. This poster is on card stock and is 11" x 17". This way, parents know what their child is working on in class and the gymnasts knows where they are skill wise.
Periodically, during class, the instructor will test the gymnast on various skills that are on his or her Skill Poster. As they master each skill, they are given colored stars to place next to the new skill on their Poster.
Once a gymnast has completed all the skills on the poster, then the gymnast is moved to the next level!
